Fruit Symphony is a radiant microlot from Gold Mountain Coffee Growers, a social enterprise that connects smallholder farmers in Nicaragua directly with roasters worldwide. The cooperative is known for championing transparency, fair pricing, and meticulous processing—ensuring that every bean reflects both the terroir and the people behind it.
This natural-processed lot was carefully dried with the fruit intact, allowing sugars and acids from the cherry to infuse the seed, producing a cup bursting with layered sweetness and clarity. The altitude of Jinotega’s mountain slopes, combined with warm days and cool nights, slows the ripening process, intensifying the fruit character and balance.
Gold Mountain’s work extends far beyond exceptional coffee. They reinvest in their communities through educational programs, access to clean water, and microloans for small producers—helping ensure sustainability from crop to cup.
In the cup, Fruit Symphony lives up to its name: bright pear and juicy pomegranate lead into a lush maraschino cherry finish, harmonized by a velvety texture and lively sweetness. It’s a showcase of Nicaraguan craftsmanship—vibrant, expressive, and worthy of its place in our Micro Plane Series.
